Community Development Worker required by The Shadwell Community Project
To be based at Glamis Adventure Playground, Shadwell, London E.1 3EG
The post will require the sucessful applicant to take a lead role in promoting the project locally to parents, residents, young people and children and work to ensure the best possible level of engagement. This role will also take responsibility for developing our healthy eating project and children's cafe.
Experience working in an Adventure Playground, community outreach, with skills in healthy lifestyles projects essential, especially growing and cooking.
The post will be up to 17.5 hours per week. The sucessful candidate will be expected to work regular sessiosn and Glamis Adventure Playground. Weekdays 2.30pm until 7.15pm, Saturdays 11.30am - 6.45pm, holidays 11.30am - 6.45pm with additional time for administration.
Salary £13,772 (£27,544 pro rata)
The Shadwell Community Project will match fund stake holder pension voluntary contributions to a fund of the employees choice, up to 5% of salary.
